Attend to Needs and Point People to God

Bridges to Sudan believes in the integrity and experiences that volunteers bring to an organization. We need people who have time, talents and especially a gift for working with people from another culture.
There are many volunteer opportunities available. Hours are flexible and will vary depending on the need of the person or people we are helping as well as finding a fit for the specific volunteer.

Some of the current positions available are:

Hands-on assistance with the refugees / Transportation
 – this can be anywhere from helping with homework, taking someone to a medical appointment or shopping, to bringing to a social function or introducing them to some area in the arts or education that they have not had an opportunity to do you. there are women who need transportation to a class.  This entails pick-up and drop-off at the class location as well as returning to transport them back to their home.  Some are during the day, others in the evening.

Tutoring or Mentoring
– people may need one-on-one help with class assignments or checking their work.  Sometimes it is a matter of learning
conversational English and someone stopping by for a visit can help in these areas.

Administrative
– there are always administrative tasks to be done.  If you

are skilled in this area and want this type of assignment please let us know.

Hospitality Work
- we are always looking for cheerful people to help with social events or community efforts.
